• Euphorbia Crystal White™

    Euphorbia (Chamaesyce) Crystal White™

Euphorbia Crystal White™ displays a multitude of small white flowers on a compact, mounded plant form. Mature height is 6” to 10” with 12” to 16” spread.

Recommended Containers: 4” to 7” pots and combination containers.

    Crop Planning from Cell Pack:
Pot Size Plants per Pot (pp) Finish Time (weeks)
    4” pot (10cm) 1 pp 5 to 7
    6” pot (15cm) 1 pp 7 to 10
    7” pot (15cm) 3 pp 5 to 7
    10 – 12” pot (25 – 30 cm) 3–4 pp 9 to 11

    Temperature Requirements:
65° to 77°F (18° to 24°C) initially are best to start growing / rooting process.
50° to 60°F (15.5° to 18°C) nights are ideal for finishing.

Media and pH Requirements: Keep soil evenly moist for optimal growth and plant quality. Overwatering, especially during cool, low light conditions will cause root issues drastically slowing growth. Oxygen deprived soil as a result of overwatering may cause yellowing of foliage similar to Iron (Fe) or Manganese (Mn) deficiency symptoms.
Maintain pH at 5.7 to 6.2 to prevent inter-vein chlorosis which may occur due to minor elements being limited in availability due to higher pH. Foliar applications of Iron and/or Manganese (Fe & Mn) in a chelated form will overcome a lack of Iron / Manganese due to soil conditions.

Fertilizer Requirements: Use a balanced feed at 150 to 200 -PPM Nitrogen. Clear water irrigation may be necessary to maintain lower salt levels for controlled growth and maximum flower production. Fertilizer stock may require additional Iron (Fe) to maintain proper color of leaves.

Pinching Requirements: Crystal White Euphorbia is self-branching yet a soft pinch at transplant will help create higher quality finished plant.

Lighting Requirement: 5,000 to 9,000 ft candles. Crystal White performs best in full to part sun exposure.

Growth Regulators: B-9 (5,000 ppm) or Cycocel (1,000 ppm). Do not use Florel as PGR or to remove flowers.

Disease and Insect Pests: Pythium/Phytophthora: Pythium- root damage will cause
a reduction in growth, cause yellowing of foliage. Keep soil evenly moist and
drench with preventative root rot fungicide regularly.
